Ghost Extended Magazine Release Fits Gen 4/5 9mm, .40, 357 & 45 GAP pistols

I shoot USPSA with a G34, and I sometimes struggle to release the magazines, which costs me time on my reloads. I shoot most accurately with the large backstrap installed, so the distance to the release is maximized in my case. I was looking for something more positive to release the magazines. This magazine release is much taller than either the stock button or the extended height Glock magazine release. Coupled with a RYG reduced power spring, this is slick. I also tried the Tango Down (too far forward, worse than stock for my application) and the Ghost Tactical (sharp edges, and harder to depress due to the smaller size of the button). This one was a winner for me. One caution I would offer is that this magazine release is quite tall....it sticks up about .150" above the pistol grip. This isn't an issue on my competition pistol, but if you have a carry gun, there could be issues with engaging it in the holster, particularly with a hybrid IWB like an AlienGear or a SuperTuck.

I was looking for something to customize my Glock so that my wife can use it more proficiently at the range (practice shooting). I ended up finding the Ghost Gen 4 Extended Magazine Release that really makes a difference for her. She stated that she feels like the release button is perfect. She did not have any complaints about it "biting" her from the face grooves. I could see how some would say that the face grooves can "bite". If that is the case for you, a bit of sanding (like 20 seconds worth) will take care of that issue.

Exactly what I needed. Good balance for my G27 at a good price. And reasonable shipping costs!
