Description
RockYourGlock hard chrome plating is extremely wear resistant and offers excellent rust protection. All surfaces are equally plated with micro-smooth hard chrome that allows for a natural low friction surface that creates lubricity resulting in smoother gun operation. RockYourGlock hard chrome plating permeates the microscopic surface of the base metal creating 100% bonding characteristics that will not allow for any chipping, flaking or separation from the base metal. 6-7 week turn around time. This price includes removal and re-installation of all parts including sights, stripping the slide and barrel down to the base metal and refinishing the slide and barrel in our hard chrome plating.
This is a satin chrome finish (not a mirrored chrome) that matches the other RYG chrome accessories including the magazine releases, trigger housing pin, extractor, and Phantom triggers.

Beyond Expectations
I've got a few pistols I was thinking of having chromed, but thanks to RYG's reasonable package price my G17 was the first. Just got it back and its better than I hoped for. Hard, even, satin finish. I'm stoked!

Glock 23
Sent off an old battered Glock 23 LE tradein slide and barrel to have it Chromed. The Slide was a lot of holster wear and I figured I would give this a try. When I received my slide and barrel back it was AMAZING. Better than new. A Steal of a Deal

The best "silver" coating out there
I've had the barrels and slides of 5 Glocks hard chromed by RYG. And soon I'll have two new barrels coated with their new gold tin (G32 barrels that I want to easily identify from my G23 barrels since I'll be using the G23 frame and slide for both calibers). The functional advantages of the hard chrome are faster & easier cleaning, and a slicker surface. The slicker surface probably helps with longer range sessions but also during cleaning because the carbon wipes away easier. Also, with black gun parts it's hard to tell by looking at them what needs to be cleaned. Having the hard chrome finish makes it easy to tell what's dirty. As far as aesthetics, I've seen different coatings referred to as "hard chrome" from other companies, and they often have a shiny mirror finish - not what I want. RYG's hard chrome is more of a matte finish but not dull. You have to see it in person to fully appreciate it.
