Description
The Taran Tactical Base Pad +3/4 is designed to give you an edge over your competition. This is a great option to increase the round capacity of your Glock pistol. These extended mag pads increase your capacity by +4 rounds for the 9MM and +3 rounds for the .40 and .357 calibers. The added weight of the base pad allows the magazine to drop free for faster reloads. The Taran Tactical push pin design allows the user to remove and install the floor plate with no extra tools for simple cleaning and inspection.
Features:
•Will fit in the USPSA, IPSC, and IDPA boxes
•These are USPSA Production and IDPA Legal
•The increased length creates a positive mag insertion every time!
•Hard anodized
•Manufactured in the U.S.A.
•Used and endorsed by nationally ranked shooters Bob Vogel, Randi Rogers, and Allie Barrett

Not just necessary but perfect
This base pad is just the right weight, and gives the necessary addition to my mags, but reduces the front weight to the point where I now feel the right balance and now am much faster.

Awesome baseplates
Good quality, adds 3+ capacity to your magazine and a fairly good price.

Taran Tactical +3 mag extension G22
Mag ext. installed quickly and easily. Have put several hundred rounds through my G22 with with no issues. I would recommend an extra power spring because there is a little less spring tension than with a factory base plate. They should include a spring, that is the only reason it's not 5 stars. I just ordered 2 more.

Taran Base Pad,
These were bought to use on a Customer's just built 9mm AR Carbine. A couple extra rounds will help prevent having to do a mag change during steel challenge events. The rifle was test fired with both mags Fully loaded. No malfunctions were experienced with 4 full mag tests using a mix of ammo to create a less than ideal situation. I do suggest that [Wolff]extra Power springs be added when doing this modification, it's clear that there is less tension on the follower when down to a few rounds and when empty and the follower has to activate the Bolt/Slide lock.
